Remedial classes for slow learners

Remedial classes are often used to stress the basics in a subject such as mathematics or language. If a student appears to be significantly behind the expected level for a class, remedial class may be indicated. These classes act as a “safety valve” for struggling students, allowing them to work at a more appropriate level, rather than failing because they are not at the same level as the rest of the class. Remedial classes can be a positive environment for students suffering from dyslexia (inability to read), dysgraphia (inability to write) and dyscalculia (inability to count) as they are conducted in small groups and at a slower pace with less pressure.

We believe in wholistic treatment hence we emphasizes collaboration among professionals/ disciplines. Other than providing co-treatment groups, individualised speech-language and occupational therapy, our centre also provide remedial classes for the slow learners who have difficulty with basic calculation and literacy skills. Methods used in the remedial classes are outcome of the discussion among therapists and special educators to make your child’s learning easier and more effective.

Our remedial classes are conducted by experienced special educators. Each special educator guides a maximum of 3 students in a two-hour session.
